HOUSE MANAGER

House Manager

Reports To:

Program Director

General Function:

Under the direction of the Program Director, the house manager is to oversee daily operations, develop, and support the house staff in their role of growing and developing our residents. This is achieved by direct involvement, as well as, the development and sustainability planning for each of the house staff and the care provided to each of the residents.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Specific calling or motivation to serve difficult and high-risk youth
  • Relational personality with the ability to engage and serve others
  • Being able to walk out individual expectations while being a part of the team and exercising proper communication and documentation
  • Being able to balance adherence to rules and relationship goals with the residents
  • Home church with regular attendance and references
  • Personal relationship with Jesus and an understanding of his role in your’s/others’ lives




Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Development of activities and events that lend to the idea of community and healthy involvement in the development and growth of our staff and residents
  • Assist the house staff in their tasks as well as finding effective ways to support them to the best of their ability
  • With the assistance of the directors, develop constructive ways to increase the longevity and viability of house staff
  • Continuously remain constructive about the intentionality and viability of the program, policies, and procedures to produce the best possible outcome for residents and staff
  • Remain on-call to assist with difficult situations in the house, talking staff through the situation and becoming directly involved, when necessary
  • Directly be involved with the residents and staff throughout each week to further develop relationship and increase knowledge of needs and opportunities for support and development
  • Create intentional goals for each of the house staff’s development and their effectiveness with working with our residents
  • Creatively finding ways to engage our youth and working towards normalcy and independence
